Organize chats by task
Open AI Studio and select a saved conversation from the left panel. Rename a vague title to a specific task such as “October product-copy review.” Search using title keywords; the history search is not a general full-text knowledge base.
Inspect the saved state
A turn may be complete, failed or interrupted. After a connection problem, refresh the records before choosing to edit and resend. An interruption does not prove that the model used no resources.
Export readable Markdown
Open a conversation containing turns and use the export action. The browser downloads youjie-conversation.md. It separates user messages from model replies and adds error-state text where present. Inspect the file in a text editor or Markdown reader. The browser manages duplicate download filenames.
Keep audit requirements separate
The export is readable text, not an automatic package of billing fields, full configuration objects or skill repository files. Preserve relevant turn configuration and usage records separately if needed. The application does not currently provide an import-and-restore workflow for this Markdown file.
Understand history versus model context
Complete records remain viewable and exportable, but a long conversation may send only recent complete turns to the model. Material visible in the archive is not necessarily present in the current model context. Restate critical requirements when starting a new task.
Review before sharing
Exports do not fact-check responses or verify references. Save important work before deleting a conversation and inspect files for confidential material before sharing. This guide reviews the current interface and export implementation without reading or publishing private conversations.
